Vintage black wood Darning Egg, enameled black. Show signs of use over time, needle marks around the egg shaped part. In years past, these old darners were put in the toe of a stocking to help in the stitching repair.
Otherwise, very sturdy and good shape. Still great for use or for the vintage sewing materials collector.
